NSB supports Barre Opera House with $75,000 gift
Northfield Savings Bank (NSB) was proud to present the Barre Opera House with a donation of $75,000 to support a capital campaign that will help fund several major facilities projects, including painting the theater for the first time since 1982.
The Bank presented the check at the annual Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce (CVCOC) Holiday Mixer at on Dec. 9 at the Barre Opera House, which was hosted by NSB.
A crowd of over 100 CVCOC members enjoyed appetizers from Cornerstone Pub & Kitchen, as well as outstanding musical performances by NSB Community Banker Therran Adams on the harp with her mother, Carolyn Adams; and NSB Compliance Officer, Tim Kane on piano and vocals. The evening was capped off by remarks from CVCOC board members and NSB President & CEO, Thomas Leavitt.
