A hearty group of NSB staff braved the late-season heat wave in September and spent the day at Camp Ta-Kum-Ta helping to prepare it for winter. Our staff pruned trees, raked up several areas, demonstrated amazing weed whacking skills, burned debris and retired pool-side furniture to its winter storage location. Our volunteer service to this worthy organization dates back to 2012.

A total of nine NSB employees were able to volunteer this year. We look forward to next year and hope for more reasonable fall-like temperatures.
