Mary Alice McKenzie, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Northfield Savings Bank (NSB), has officially proclaimed July 7, 2023 as Ian Arnold Day.  Ian began his career with NSB in 1985 and is transitioning from his full-time duties to new life adventures with his family in Maine.

The proclamation, unanimously backed with consent from the full Board, emphasizes Ian’s contributions to NSB’s advancement over four decades, including in his roles as Community Banker, Collections Representative, Loan Officer, Community Banking Officer, Mortgage Originator, Senior Originator / Manager, Vice President – Mortgage Originations, and Vice President – Consumer Credit. 

NSB Executive Vice President Cory Richardson noted, “During his time with NSB, Ian has been a selfless steward that has always shared his insights and talents with others.  Ian has supported thousands of Vermonters as they have sought and attained their goals of home ownership.  His great personal outlook and example will continue to inspire us as we miss his daily presence.”

The company held celebrations in Ian’s honor over the past week.  Ian Arnold Day comes as Ian observes his 38^th anniversary as a revered NSB teammate.
