We offer Wire Transfer Services for both within and outside the United States. For incoming and outgoing wire transfers please see the information needed below, and visit your local branch to complete the transaction.

Incoming Wire

If you want to wire money to your account at NSB, you will need to know the following information:

Domestic Wire

• NSB routing #: 211672683
• NSB address: PO Box 7180, Barre VT, 05641
• NSB phone #: 800-672-2274
• Customer/beneficiary name, account number, and physical address

Foreign Wire (US dollars or foreign currency):

• Call for details

Outgoing Wire

If you want to wire money from your account at NSB, you will need to know the following information:

Domestic Wire

• Receiving bank name, address, and routing #
• Wire beneficiary name, address, and account #

Foreign Wire (US dollars or foreign currency):

• Call for details

For security reasons NSB will call to verify additional information before  processing all out-going wire transfers. We will attempt to contact you at the phone number on file in our records. Wires will not be processed until we have confirmed your request via phone and compared your signature to our records. The cutoff time for same-day wire transfers is 3:00 p.m., but is subject to change without notice. Please refer to the Service Fee Schedule for current wire transfer fees.
