Regular Savings

This type of savings account was probably the first you ever had, and it is still a mainstay of many personal and family savings plans. It’s easy to understand and simple to use with guaranteed earnings and unlimited access. Our low minimum balance requirement makes it easy to avoid fees, plus we waive the minimum balance requirement for customers under 18.

The traditional savings account, with only a $50 minimum to open. Interest is credited monthly. A $100 average daily minimum balance* is required to avoid service charges (may be waived for children). Service charges are $2.50/month if balance falls below minimum. Six withdrawals allowed per month.**

Club Savings

Helps you to save weekly for holiday, tax or seasonal expenses.

Club accounts can be opened with as little as $1.00! Accounts mature in October, and NSB will deposit your funds to another NSB account. There are no service charges with this account, and deposits can be made at any time. Interest is compounded daily, and credited at maturity. No withdrawals until maturity.

Money Market Savings

The Money Market Savings pays a higher interest rate than our Regular Savings Account. The more you save; the more you earn.

Open your account with $1,000, and maintain an average daily minimum balance* of $1,000, and there are no service charges. Service charge is $8/ monthly if balance falls below minimum. Interest is credited monthly; no interest is paid on days when your balance is less than $500. Six withdrawals allowed per month.**

Health Savings Accounts (HSA)

NSB's Health Savings Account (HSA) is a financial tool available to help individuals with high-deductible insurance plans save for future medical expenses. This account features unlimited check writing privileges and a special debit card. There is a $50 minimum opening deposit requirement. There are no monthly service charges. Monthly statements are provided, and online access is available. Consult your tax advisor to determine if you qualify for an HSA. Maintain a higher balance, earn more on your savings!

Wings Youth Savings

This account is designed for kids up to 17 years old. There is no minimum balance and no monthly service charge. Kids can open their account and start savings with as little as $1. We provide free age-appropriate financial education materials which encourage kids to learn good savings habits early.
